Nintendo is the name of the leading video game company; it has created some of the best selling games ever, including the Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda series. The Nintendo 64 (N64) and Game Boy / Game Boy Color (GB/GBC) are the two Nintendo systems on the market right now. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) have died graceful deaths, and the ill-famed Virtual Boy (VB) was dead before it started, sadly. All five of these consoles have their own sub-category in the Open Directory. Sites based exclusively on particular games or game series (e.g "Zelda: The Ocarina of Time" or "Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3") will be found in Titles directory. Nintendo's newest consoles are the GameCube, and an upgraded Game Boy system, called Game Boy Advance.
